UAB “Eksplosita” is jointly owned in equal shares by two shareholders – 50% of the company’s shares are held by UAB “Milsa”, and 50% by the Estonian defence industry company “Nitrotol OÜ”. This partnership combines the Milsa Group’s long-standing experience in raw material extraction, quarry operations and civil blasting works with Nitrotol’s technological knowledge and expertise in the defence industry. The shareholders’ common goal is to strengthen explosives and defence industry capabilities in Lithuania and the Baltic region.

Milsa Group is a Lithuanian group of companies with more than 60 years of experience in the production and trade of granite and dolomite aggregates. The group includes the dolomite extraction and aggregate production company AB “Klovainių skalda”, granite aggregate plants in Vilnius and Kaunas operating under the “Gruno” name, as well as other specialised companies. Milsa Group consistently strengthens vertical integration by managing the key processes of raw material extraction, processing, logistics and supply.

Nitrotol OÜ is an Estonian defence industry company operating in the field of weapons and ammunition production. The company has experience in the production of military explosives, charges and mines, and also participates in projects aimed at developing Estonia’s defence industry capabilities. Nitrotol’s expertise includes technical production solutions, process documentation, technological know-how and support in implementing production and explosives filling processes.

Eksplosita’s field of activity is focused on the processing and filling of explosive materials for the defence industry. The company is developing capabilities to work with TNT, RDX and Comp B materials, ensuring controlled casting, pressing, full-spectrum processing and filling processes. This expertise enables Eksplosita to develop reliable technological solutions required for the explosives, charges and ammunition production chain in Lithuania and the Baltic region.
