Eksplosita

In order to strengthen the vertical integration of the Milsa Group through dolomite raw material blasting operations, the Milsa Group company UAB Eksplosita was established in 2016. In 2017, Eksplosita, together with another Milsa Group company, AB Klovainių skalda, built explosive storage facilities at the Klovainiai quarry. Starting in 2018, in cooperation with Estonian partners Voglers Eesti OÜ, the company began blasting operations at the Klovainiai quarry.

In 2024, UAB Eksplosita, together with its parent company UAB Milsa, acquired the Estonian company Voglers Eesti OÜ. This step marked a strategic vertical integration within the Milsa Group, enabling control over one of the most critical processes in dolomite quarrying – rock drilling and blasting. The main activities of Voglers Eesti include drilling and blasting works, carried out in Estonia, Lithuania, and other countries. The company began operating in Lithuania in 2018 at the Klovainiai dolomite quarry, managed by the Milsa Group. In addition, the company performs other specialized tasks such as field stone crushing, building demolition, underwater blasting, and special effects.

In 2025, UAB Eksplosita, together with its parent company UAB Milsa, acquired the Latvian company SIA Spradziens. The main activities of this company are rock drilling and blasting works, as well as the demolition of structures using explosives.

UAB Eksplosita, Voglers Eesti OÜ, and SIA Spradziens together form one of the largest rock drilling and blasting groups in the Baltic States. Starting in 2025, UAB Eksplosita has also begun developing activities related to the production of explosives and ammunition intended for the defense industry.
